Four years have passed since the Arbor Grande project broke ground in the northern section of Lakewood Ranch; since then, this gated community has gradually developed into one of the most attractive in Manatee County. Arbor Grande started off as one of the first projects developed by CalAtlantic Homes, which was later acquired by Lennar; this is a stylish neighborhood that combines maintenance-free villas with single-family residences and amenities that can be enjoyed by the entire family.

The Lennar influence can be appreciated the moment you arrive at the entrance located south of State Road 64 and east of Lakewood Ranch Boulevard. This is a great location because it is just a short drive away from the Lakewood Ranch Plaza shopping center where you can find a Publix supermarket, banks, fast-food restaurants, and cafes. Moreover, Bob Gardner Community Park is nearby, and Holmes Beach is close enough to visit on weekend trips.

Unlike builders that have opted for a more streamlined interpretation of the Mediterranean revival style of architecture, the homes at Arbor Grande are nicely ornate. A few of the 10 floor plans in this community are very spacious; for example, a six-bedroom home with four bathrooms and 3,828 square feet of living space was listed for less than $500K in March 2020; this is an example of Lennar’s acclaimed NextGen homes for large families.

Pricing for more modest models starts at $275K for two-bedroom villas with two full bathrooms. Some of these attached villas feature nearly 2,000 square feet of interior, and each home has extras such as tile roofs, tropical landscaping, covered lanais, and natural stone countertops.

As with nearly all Lakewood Ranch villages, Arbor Grande provides residents and their guests with amenities such as picnic grounds, swimming pool, clubhouse, tennis courts, and even a dog park. As of 2020, all homes in this community were still covered by builder’s warranty. Without a doubt, Arbor Grande is currently one of the most attractive neighborhoods near Bradenton.
