When you drive around Venice, you will notice that many of its districts feature a certain architectural flair that recalls styles in northern Italy. The Historic Downtown Venice is a good example of this design approach; even though the buildings are relatively new or remodeled, they pay homage to the styles of the Veneto region by the Adriatic Sea. Another example can be found at Milano in Venice, a gated community located along Jacaranda Boulevard and just south of Laurel Road.
Milano is one of various projects recently completed by Neal Communities in the eastern sections of Venice, where you will also find neighborhoods such as Aria, Cielo, and Vicenza; all of them share the same vision of Tuscan architecture with some splashes of Mediterranean design. The idea is to be stylistically consistent with the overall architectural intent of Venice.
You may have learned about this community when it broke ground in 2016; at that time, it was known as the Villages of Milano, and it was planned to be developed into clusters of maintenance-free villas that would be mostly marketed to senior home buyers. When Neal Communities decided to add single-family homes to the mix, the neighborhood was renamed, and development continued through 2019, which means that you can purchase homes still covered under comprehensive builder’s warranty.
There is a lot for home buyers to like about Milano. The quality of construction and attention to detail that is characteristic of Neal Communities will give you enough reasons to purchase, but this neighborhood also provides many amenities and is built on a prime location. You can count on features such as quartz counters, crown molding, designer cabinets, top-of-the-line appliances, large covered lanais overlooking lakes, and bonus rooms that can be turned into dens or spaces for overnight guests. The recreation center includes a heated swimming pool, a spa, tennis courts, bocce ball, a dog park, and a nice waterfront pavilion for family picnics. Finally, the Jacaranda Commons shopping center is a little over a five-minute drive to the north. If you prefer outdoor activities on the weekend, you do not have to drive far to get to the beach or to nearby attractions such as the Myakka River State Park.
