As one of the newest neighborhoods in the Palmer Ranch master planned development, Arbor Lakes is attracting a lot of attention among home buyers in Sarasota due to its upscale real estate options and the range of amenities.
As of February 2014, respected home builder Taylor Morrison is busy finalizing its vision of Arbor Lakes as an elegant and family-friendly Palmer Ranch community. The development plan calls for about 267 single-family residences spread across 217 acres. Taylor Morrison is making 13 floor plans available for home shoppers interested in owning prime real estate in Southwest Florida.
The starter floor plan at Arbor Lakes is the Pinehurst III, priced at just under $277,000. This is a 2,055 square feet, three-bedroom and two-bathroom home with a two-car garage. Families looking for more space may want to look at the Eden III, which is a two-story home with four bedrooms and three full bathrooms plus a guest restroom priced at $343,900. More upscale opportunities will find the 5,073 square feet, six-bedroom and five-bathroom Flagler III floor plan more than adequate at just over $450,000.
Residents of Arbor Lakes enjoy amenities such as a resort-style swimming pool, basketball court, pet-friendly park, fire pit and picnic area, pavilion, and an adventure playground. This area of Palmer Ranch is close to golf courses, racquet clubs and family parks.
Arbor Lakes is located west of I-75, close to Honore Avenue and Clark Road. The beaches of Siesta Key can be accessed from Clark Road, which turns into the Stickney Point Road bridge after driving less than 30 minutes. This section of Sarasota has many restaurants, taverns and grocery stores nearby. Arbor Lakes is served by Ashton Elementary, Sarasota Middle and Riverview High of the Sarasota Public Schools District.
