Initially developed in 2014, Arbor Lakes is the work of Taylor Morrison, an Arizona builder known for its resort-like communities. Arbor Lakes in Palmer Ranch Sarasota is a large neighborhood of 254 acres and more than 260 single-family residences ranging between 2,000 and 5,000 square feet of living space. Located along the section of Palmer Ranch Parkway that runs parallel to I-75, this elegant community offers spacious floor plans, many of them arranged near lakes, and comprehensive amenities designed with children in mind. The swimming pool area is reminiscent of a summer resort, and it includes a splash zone with a water slide and even a bucket operated by pirates. There is also a basketball court and a sandlot for beach volleyball along with a pavilion with barbecue grills and picnic benches.

To say that Arbor Lakes has been a real estate success would be an understatement. When Taylor Morrison completed the initial phase of construction, the coziest model was priced around $207K. These days, a three-bedroom home with two bathrooms and 2,056 square feet of interior can be found listed at $385K. As you can imagine, homes in Arbor Lakes tend to sell very quickly, and not just to families. Retirees who enjoy playing golf like the idea of living close to championship courses.

In terms of convenience, you can’t beat living just five minutes away from the Northridge shopping center and its renovated Publix supermarket; in this plaza, you can also find a Bealls store and even a Walmart Neighborhood Market. When you want to hit the beach, driving to Siesta Key will take you less than 20 minutes.
