Within the residential development community of the United States, Manatee County is often mentioned as being an exemplary housing market thanks to very successful master-planned developments such as Lakewood Ranch. As its name implies, North River Ranch is located north of the Manatee River, just west of Highway 301 and the new downtown district of Parrish. Quality of life is driving the North River Ranch project. Since 2019, new public schools have opened close to the development in order to allow children to ride their bikes. The State College of Florida has also expanded its class offerings at nearby satellite campus locations. To top it all off, there is a planned Village Center along with a Town Square where residents will be able to shop for groceries, dine at restaurants, and enjoy coffee at sidewalk cafes.
At Brightwood, you will find brand-new homes built by Centex and KB Home in an updated version of the Florida ranch style. Two-bedroom homes with two full bathrooms start under $235K if you are willing to wait on builders to complete them. Even a four-bedroom model with four bedrooms and 1,580 square feet of living space can be negotiated for less than $250K. Considering that these are new construction opportunities offered by renowned national builders, they are excellent deals because median home prices in Parrish are higher than $270K in 2020.
Living in Brightwood means never being too far from Downtown Bradenton, but you are likely to spend most of your time in the community thanks to amenities such as a waterfront clubhouse, a swimming pool, a fitness center, and nature trails. Keep in mind that Parrish is undergoing a wave of commercial development, so you will always have supermarkets and shopping centers nearby.
