While it is true that many home buyers are attracted to Parrish because of its lower density when compared to Bradenton, there are other advantages to consider. A real estate rule of thumb in Parrish is that you can get more for less; this means that homes are not only more spacious but also more well-appointed, and this is clearly the case in Creekside Oaks.
Located just a few blocks north of the Parkwood Square shopping center along Highway 301, Creekside Oaks in Parrish is just four miles away from I-75 and a 20-minute drive from Downtown Bradenton. This is an intimate gated community of just 85 single-family homes that happen to be very spacious. The floor plans range between 1,895 and 3,653 square feet of interior, and some have private swimming pools. Development of Creekside Oaks started in the year 2000 and continued through 2005; all properties sold very quickly, and quite a few original homeowners are still holding on to their homes.
Creekside Oaks is a place where you can find a four-bedroom home with three full bathrooms listed for less than $260K in late 2019. Considering that the median sales price in Parrish is $297K, this is a great deal because it includes extras such as a chef’s kitchen with Corian countertops, dual sinks in the master bathroom, a garden tub, and an extended lanai. A few of the homes in this neighborhood enjoy lake views while others are near nature preserves. If you stay on top of the listings, you may find a five-bedroom home for around $350K.
Residents of Creekside Oaks get to enjoy more than just very nice homes; there is a community playground for children and a few green spaces that are great for picnics. Thanks to the mature landscaping, the entire neighborhood feels like a park. As previously mentioned, the nearest shopping center is less than five minutes away, and this is where you can find a Publix supermarket. The next commercial district is less than 10 minutes away near the I-75 intersection, but you are better off visiting the Ellenton Premium Outlets. Holmes Beach is about a 40-minute drive away.
