Despite its miles of white sandy beaches, there aren’t too many high-rise beachfront condominiums on Longboat Key. The Mote Marine Aquarium and the trendy shops of St. Armands Circle are just a short drive away. The beach is right in front of the community, and residents even have access to a couple of piers to the north and south.
With 133 units between the two towers, this condominium offers floor plans that range from 1,180 to 2,470 square feet of living space. All of them offer two bedrooms and two bathrooms, but the penthouses have larger balconies and den spaces that can be transformed into bedrooms for visiting guests. From about the second level, all units provide unobstructed views of the beach and the ocean from the balconies and bedroom windows.
In addition to the beach, residents of the Islander Club also enjoy amenities such as a swimming pool, sauna room, private gym, tennis courts, a clubhouse with a lounge, and a billiards room. All the units have been improved so that the windows can resist wind storms and high-impact hurricanes. Pricing as of late 2021 started at $788K, but the penthouse units regularly list for about a million dollars. Lucky residents do not have to leave the island at all thanks to the Bay Isles shopping center less than a mile to the north; this is where they can find convenient stores such as Publix and CVS.
