The MacArthur Beach and Racquet Club is one of the few beachfront neighborhoods of Venice, and it also happens to be one of the most attractive for prospective home buyers.

Located to the north of the legendary Sharky’s On the Pier seafood restaurant, the MacArthur Beach and Racquet Club is a low-rise condominium community that is right on the Golden Beach section of Venice. As its name suggests, this gated condo neighborhood features a couple of elevated tennis courts as one of its amenities. Residents and guests also enjoy access to a heated swimming pool.

MacArthur is the kind of community that appeals to home buyers who dream of living just steps away from the beach, and you can find opportunities listed as low as $350K in 2021. The coziest units feature one bedroom and one bathroom built on at least 805 square feet of interior. The largest two-bedroom units offer two bedrooms and two full bathrooms; these properties typically sell for around $515K.

Homeowners association fees in MacArthur are pretty reasonable for an exclusive community with direct access to the beach, and they include water, garbage collection, landscaping, cable television, and remodeling of common areas. More than half of all units offer balcony and bedroom views of the ocean.

Residents of MacArthur are allowed to keep two pets; conveniently, Brohard Paw Park is located just a few blocks south along the beach. Driving to the Historic Downtown Venice district will take you about five minutes, and the same goes for the Publix supermarket at the Venice Commons shopping center.
