The British name of this neighborhood is part of a theme that extends to its street names and the architectural style of the clubhouse overlooking a heated swimming pool. Residents and their guests also have access to a spa. The homes are built in the Mediterranean revival style, and they are surrounded by tropical landscaping that makes Pennington Place feel like a Caribbean resort.

A few properties in Pennington Place offer lake views, and a few others are located at the end of cul-de-sacs. The floor plans selected by D.R. Horton come with all the extras you expect from Sarasota homes: decorative entrances, gourmet kitchens, walk-in closets, and Florida rooms for comfortable lounging during sunny days. Prices in early 2021 range between $250K and $300K, but they are likely to rise as new construction projects break ground around Venice.

A short drive north to the Tamiami Trail is all it takes for Pennington Place to get all their shopping done at Publix, Walmart, and other stores. The pristine beach at Manasota Key is even closer, and there are two nearby golf courses that offer membership packages.
