River Place in Bradenton Offers Waterfront Homes for Sale

In Manatee County, luxury waterfront properties along the Braden River do not stop at Ward Lake.  River Place in Bradenton is an exclusive neighborhood located just west of I-75 and east of Honore Avenue.  The earliest single-family residences completed in River Place date back to 2002; they are Mediterranean-style homes built on generous home sites that feature plenty of interior space.

Development at River Place slowed down after 2007 and resumed a few years later; as a result, some of the available listings date back to 2014.  The homes are neatly arranged around a large lake with a spring fountain, and some of them are located just a few hundred feet away from the banks of the Braden River.  Other properties feature private pools and access to docking space.

River Place is for house hunters who are ready to acquire the home they truly deserve.  The older models tend to be the most affordable and spacious; a 2002 three-bedroom and two-bathroom home built on more than 2,100 square feet of living space can be found listed for less than $350K, and it will include details such as: a studio space, grand entrance with foyer, gourmet kitchen, open-plan great room, master suite with separate walk-in closets, individual shower and tub, screened lanai that leads to a swimming pool, and more.  Listings that offer more interior space and extras can be negotiated all the way up to $639K.  Although homeowners tend to hold on to their River Place properties, home buyers will always find a handful of available listings.

The community amenities of River Place include a community swimming pool with a clubhouse and exercise room.  Other attractions include a lounge equipped with a media library that can be reserved for social events.  There are various green areas for picnics and family activities, and the Braden River can be explored via a nearby kayak launch.
River Place residents are less than 18 miles away from Bradenton Beach and about 23 miles away from Siesta Key.  There are five Publix supermarkets and small shopping centers within two miles from the neighborhoods, and the University Park shopping district is about 10 minutes away.
