At the time the first few models were completed at Riverside Point, the housing market in Southwest Florida was already on the rebound. Now that the market has fully recovered, Riverside Point stands as a very desirable waterfront neighborhood and a measure of success.
Lee Wetherington was the first home builder at Riverside Point, but he was soon joined by the Vision Group and Arthur Rutenberg. The architectural designs offered range from Key West homes to Mediterranean estates and from Spanish Colonial villas to classic Southwest Florida houses.
Riverside Point will primarily appeal to home buyers who are ready to acquire sizable real estate. The coziest floor plan in this neighborhood features three bedrooms and the same number of bathrooms built on nearly 2,586 square feet of interior space. The home sites start at 8,451 square feet, which leaves plenty of space for swimming pools, gazebos, etc.
One of the most spectacular homes at Riverside Point is the Rhodes Ranch, a luxurious three-bedroom estate that is perfect for narrow lots. This lavish floor plan features an impressive foyer decorated by a spiral staircase and a guest suite with a private lounge and balcony. In 2015, sales at Riverside Point started around $650K and were brisk; these days, homeowners are holding on their properties, but a handful of lots priced under $250K are available for new construction in 2016.
Boaters and anglers will feel right at home in Riverside Point, which is located near marinas, dockside restaurants and fishing piers. Restaurants, cafes and shops are within walking distance, and driving to Downtown Bradenton takes only 15 minutes without traffic; the nearest beach is about 35 minutes away.
